Internships

Public Allies

EPN was a host site for two public allies from 2013-2015. Public Allies is an acclaimed apprentice-partnership program and is the premier pipeline for developing diverse and talented nonprofit and community leaders. Their AmeriCorps program is cost-effective, strengthens nonprofits, and connects organizations to a network of like-minded organizations. They are committed to recruiting and selecting young people who are often overlooked for opportunities to lead and grow. They identify talented young adults from diverse and under-represented backgrounds who have a passion to make a difference, and help them turn that passion into a viable career path in community and public service. These young leaders serve in full-time paid positions where they create, improve, and expand services with measurable results. They also participate in rigorous leadership development programs each week that helps them improve their work, leadership, and impact.
